Founder & CEO

Dr. Robert Whitton is the Founder and CEO of the Elder Sage Foundation, bringing together executive healthcare leadership, frontline service, education, and a deeply held commitment to strengthening men, families, and communities. As a healthcare executive, nurse, paramedic, and doctoral-trained leader, Robert has built his career around servant leadership, accountability, mentorship, and developing others to reach their potential. His professional leadership experience, combined with his roles as a husband and father, gives him a personal understanding of the importance of strong mentors, engaged fathers, and meaningful community. Robert founded Elder Sage with a simple belief: when men have purpose, connection, and the wisdom of other men beside them, they become better leaders for their families and communities. That combination of executive experience lived perspective, and commitment to the mission uniquely positions him to lead Elder Sage from an idea into a lasting movement.

JACQUELINE WHITTON

Chief Operations Officer

Jacqueline Whitton, MSN, BSN, RN, serves as Chief Operations Officer of the Elder Sage Foundation, bringing a unique combination of healthcare expertise, nursing informatics, frontline leadership, compassion, and dedication to family and community. As an experienced registered nurse and paramedic, Jacqueline has built her career caring for others, mentoring healthcare professionals, and helping teams work together in challenging environments. As a mother of four, she also brings an invaluable family-centered perspective to Elder Sage’s mission and understands firsthand that strengthening men ultimately means strengthening spouses, children, and entire families. Her clinical experience, informatics expertise, organizational strengths, and commitment to service make her uniquely suited to transform the Foundation’s vision into sustainable programs and meaningful community impact. Jacqueline helps ensure Elder Sage remains grounded in its purpose: Strong Men. Strong Families. Strong Communities.

JAMES WHITTON

Executive Director of Strategy & Military Outreach

James Whitton serves as Executive Director of Strategy & Military Outreach for the Elder Sage Foundation, bringing more than 20 years of distinguished leadership and service in the United States Air Force, where he retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Holding a master’s degree in psychology, James combines his understanding of human behavior, resilience, and personal development with decades of military leadership experience. As a father who helped raise two wonderful children, he understands the lasting influence that strong fathers, mentors, and role models can have on the next generation. His commitment to service did not end with military retirement; James continues to volunteer with multiple organizations dedicated to supporting veterans and their families. At Elder Sage, he helps guide the Foundation’s strategic direction while leading outreach to veterans and military communities, with a particular focus on helping men rediscover purpose, connection, mentorship, and belonging during and after military service. James embodies the belief that leadership does not end with a title or a uniform. Rather it continues through the wisdom we share, the people we mentor, and the communities we serve. Strong Men.
